How it works

NorthPrep is a practice loop: take a timed test that behaves like the real CELPIP, understand exactly what your result means, then let your scores point you to the next smart session.

   Pick a skill

   Choose Reading, Listening, Writing, or Speaking. Each module is built around the published CELPIP task types, so the parts and question styles you practise are the ones you will meet on test day.

   Practise under exam-style timing

   Every test is timed to CELPIP-style limits: Reading gives you 4 parts and 38 questions in 43–56 minutes, Listening plays each audio once just like the exam, Writing gives you the two timed tasks, and Speaking records your responses against preparation and answer timers.

   Review what actually happened

   Reading and Listening score instantly with authored explanations for every question — including why each wrong option is wrong. Writing and Speaking get AI feedback on your actual response, plus model answers at different levels so you can see what a stronger answer looks like.

   Track your progress toward your CLB target

   Saved attempts build a score history per skill, so you can see your estimated band move over time and spend your next session where it counts. CELPIP reports each skill separately: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking each receive their own CELPIP Level from 0 to 12. Your score report also includes an Average Score, but it does not correspond to a CLB level and IRCC does not use it for immigration or citizenship purposes. There is no pass or fail. Programs usually set a minimum for every skill, so your weakest skill is normally the one that decides whether you qualify. NorthPrep helps you find and fix that skill first.
