How to Prepare for CELPIP in 4 Weeks
Four weeks is enough time to build a practical routine if you focus on evidence from your own practice. Use this plan as a flexible structure, not a promise of a particular score.
Week 1: Find your baseline
Complete one realistic task in each skill and write down what happened. Look for timing pressure, repeated uncertainty, unclear organization, and places where you lost focus.
- Practise Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking once each.
- Review before repeating the same task.
- Choose the two weakest skills for Week 2.
Week 2: Focus on the weakest skills
Spend most sessions on the two skills that created the clearest problems. Keep sessions small enough that you can review them carefully and choose one change for the next attempt.
Week 3: Add timed pressure
Bring back stricter timing for Reading and Listening, and complete at least one full Writing or Speaking response without pausing. Review both mistakes and answers you guessed correctly.
Week 4: Rehearse and taper
Complete a mock flow early in the week if you can review it afterward. Use the final days for light targeted review, test-day logistics, and confidence-building practice rather than cramming new strategies.
