Prepare with purpose
Reading tasks can involve messages, practical information, diagrams, and contrasting opinions. The challenge is not simply vocabulary. You must understand why a text was written, connect details across sections, infer a writer's position, and choose the option best supported by the passage.
Reading every line at the same speed can leave too little time for difficult questions. Another common mistake is selecting an answer that sounds reasonable but adds an idea the text never states.
