Information texts can be dense because several sections discuss related ideas. This task rewards readers who recognize the role of each paragraph and locate a detail by category rather than scanning randomly for repeated words.

You read an informational passage divided into sections and match statements or questions with the part that contains the answer. Items can paraphrase the source, so understanding topic, purpose, cause, effect, and example relationships matters more than spotting identical vocabulary.

After reading each section, write a two- or three-word label such as cause, history, benefit, limitation, or example. For a question, predict the likely category before searching. Read the full supporting sentence to confirm the match.
